Dual Cockpit Ace Outboard Runabout

The Grapeview Point Ace is ready to go
The Ace was designed in the 1950's by William D. Jackson as a 12' dual cockpit runabout.
In the late fifties and early sixties Sande Boat Works (then located on Hood Canal), stretched the hull to 13', simplified the construction somewhat, and built hundreds of these as the Sande Ace.
By stretching the design to 13'2" we are able to meet current USCG regulations when using up to 30 hp motors.
The USCG and the ABYC also have regulations and safety standards for boats of this type that require we add flotation material to ensure the swamped boat will support the weight of the motor and passengers.

Looking forward
