The new owners and various friends and family showed up to help launch "Freya". It was a typical Northwest spring day, that is to say it was rainy. That didn't stop the crowd from getting Freya safely launched.

It took a little doing to get Freya lined up with our narrow ramp, which is barely wider than the trailer.

Fortunately, there were enough people on hand to control the descent down the ramp, as it was wet and slippery.

Tom gives a little champagne to Freya, and then some to Neptune for calm seas and gentle winds.

Unfortunately, the weather precluded raising her sails and letting her go with the wind. That would be saved for another day!
