We took her for her first sail a few days later.

Three reefs in the main

It was a very windy day, so we took advantage of her third reef in the main, and second in the mizzen.

Picking up speed

We didn't need such shortened sail in the protected waters of the marina, but we knew there were white caps around the point.

And away she goes...

And thus the Caledonia Yawl "Freya" sails off on future adventures, and we turn to our next project, Iain Oughtred's Tirrik.
