Fitting the keelson on the Caledonia Yawl

We used the lofting to make station molds for the building form and assembled the ladder frame that the molds are set up on. We also aligned the molds on the frame.

After that we cut out the pieces for the inner stems (fore and aft) and glued them together.

Today we shaped the inner stems to the finished profile, and aligned them on the building form.

The photo shows the forward inner stem aligned, and the keelson is placed in the molds for a test fit.
