The 8' pram has had a long history as a tender to small or medium size cruising boats, due to its compact size yet excellent carrying capacity. Plywood planking makes it even better suited as a tender - particularly for long-distance cruising where the pram may be stowed on deck in all weather conditions - parching sun, tropical rain, or salt spray in a stormy sea. The Humble Bee can accommodate a crew of one to two. The bow transom is small and located well above the waterline, resulting in smoother progress through the water in choppy seas.
