Rowing and sailing Skiff

Although we did not build this boat, we were determined to rescue it when we saw it.

This boat had been neglected for years, and the owner needed to clear it out of the garage before she could sell her house.

We made a few necessary repairs and gave it a new paint job.

It is built of red cedar on oak frames fastened with copper rivets and clenched nails. It was lightly built for hanging in davits and has lifting eyes in the keelson.

This boat is rigged for sail, with a tiller and rudder, daggerboard and spars.
